Essential for Life and at Risk
Oxygen, the life-sustaining gas that fills our lungs with every breath, is not just a fundamental component of the air we breathe; it is the very essence of life itself.However, modern technological advancements often consume oxygen at an alarming rate, overshadowing its importance.
A car engine consumes 1400 liters of oxygen to burn 1 liter of petrol, exceeding a person's 3.7-day oxygen intake. Driving 100 kilometers uses more oxygen than a person would in 22 days, and at 100 km/h, a car's oxygen use is 530 times a person's daily need. This emphasizes the urgency to preserve our environment by reducing our carbon footprint, embracing sustainable energy, and safeguarding the air for future generations. Each breath is a gift, sustaining all life on Earth.

Trees are essential in combating global warming, offering natural cooling and carbon sequestration. Urban areas starkly contrast the coolness provided by forests, which use sunlight for photosynthesis, converting carbon dioxide into oxygen. Deforestation for urbanization or agriculture, as observed in some countries, increases carbon emissions and desertification. Without trees, we face hotter climates, biodiversity loss, and soil degradation, exacerbating global warming.
Reforestation and preventing deforestation can restore ecological balance. Trees, as carbon sinks, remove excess carbon dioxide, playing a pivotal role in climate change mitigation. They are fundamental to a sustainable future, emphasizing the need to protect them to avert environmental disaster.
